Car Parking: Use Local parking, Kirkstall Bridge Inn has only 30 spaces, Use Local parking - upon enquiring it is now suggested to avoid Morrisons (customers only max stay 2hrs) and to avoid Kirkstall retail park (customers only max stay 2hrs). Another suggestion would be the old Harvard Mills and LPSA (LS5 3AS). Please lift share when possible.

Please note that as of 21 Jan the course has been changed to an out and back lollipop shaped course. This change will considerably reduce the canal and road sections and increase the amount of trail!

Midwinter ~17 km Riverside Trail Road Hybrid Race

Great Owl running presents the inaugural Kirkstall Calverley Cutter. An 17km Trail / Road Hybrid Race taking in the sights of the fantastic River Aire and Calverley Cutting. 
Race registration takes place at the award winning Kirkstall Bridge, on finishing all runners receive a delicious pint with their race number (or cider / glass of wine / soft drink) and a cosy warm atmosphere after what will certainly be a very cold January race! 
Although the route is relatively simple the course will be part marked and marshalled at key areas and all runners will receive a route map / description upon entry. 
The race will start and finish just a hop away from the pub on the Leeds Liverpool Canal.

Water Container (From January 2019 onwards Great Owl events are going cupless. There will be an aid / refill station at 8km, we’ll bring all the haribo!

All owners must also enter themself
All owners must have public liability insurance for their dog. Many household policies provide liability insurance for dogs as do many specific pet insurance policies.
Dogs should be on a lead using a CaniX regulation waist belt at all times
Owners should clean up after their dog
Runners with a dog must start at the back of the field.
The £1 charge is to cover the extra ARC licence purchase.
